The ODASCO Debate Team has once again demonstrated excellence and consistency by winning the Eastern Regional Debate Championship for two consecutive years.

This remarkable achievement, under the leadership of the current Headmaster, Mr. Eric Amoah, is a testament to the team’s dedication, discipline, preparation, and commitment to excellence.

The team’s success reflects not only its intellectual brilliance but also its teamwork, confidence, critical thinking, persuasive argumentation, and mastery of public speaking. Competing against formidable opponents, the debaters demonstrated the ability to analyze complex issues, present clear and convincing points, and effectively rebut opposing arguments while maintaining composure under pressure.

A Remarkable Achievement

Winning once is an achievement, but winning twice consecutively is a testament to consistency and sustained excellence.

The team’s success has made ODASCO three consecutive times Debate Champions in the Eastern Region and has also seen the school place third three consecutive times at the sector level (8 Regions).

This great feat has brought honour and recognition to the school while inspiring fellow students to strive for greatness.
